resilient
city for all.
Almost a decade ago, the City of Bratislava signed the Covenant of Mayors on Climate and Energy and voluntarily made a commitment to reduce our carbon footprint and help the city adapt to climate change.
Bratislava is gradually incorporating this commitment into strategic documents such as the new PHSR – Bratislava 2030 Plan, the Atlas of Vulnerability and Risk Assessment of the Adverse Impacts of Climate Change or the Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan 2030.
The city plants trees, builds bike paths, promotes public transport and revitalises public spaces.

Our partners
The project has received support from Norwegian funds and we will cooperate with the Icelandic capital Reykjavik and the Norwegian city of Bergen. However, in a broader context, we consider all cities that are part of the Covenant of Mayors, or any cities that can be an inspiration in the field of carbon footprint reduction, sustainable energy or the creation of green and blue infrastructure, as partners.
