At the Climate-Resilient Bratislava conference, held on 23 November 2021, we informed the public of the goals that the city will pursue in tandem with its partners in the project of the same name. We want to encourage a discussion on climate change, the sustainability of the city, and the search for solutions in this serious situation.

Climate-Resilient Bratislava?

The conference was primarily targeted at the professional public. In the morning, the speakers presented the national context of the project and the whole project, including the planned activities. Foreign partners of the city also provided input. In the workshop in the afternoon, experts from various fields considered the vision of Bratislava and the challenges to be overcome in its implementation. Our partners

The project has received support from Norwegian funds and we will cooperate with the Icelandic capital Reykjavik and the Norwegian city of Bergen. However, in a broader context, we consider all cities that are part of the Covenant of Mayors, or any cities that can be an inspiration in the field of carbon footprint reduction, sustainable energy or the creation of green and blue infrastructure, as partners.
